FON WiFi Connection Manager for Symbian devices is a free tool
developed by FON for Nokia WiFi phones users (Nokia E60, E61, N80, N91,
N92, N93 and N95 models). All Foneros who own one of these phones are
now able to connect them to thousands of FONspots.
If you haven't heard of FON before it's a WiFi network community that lets you share your broadband connection with every other FON member resulting in free-of-charge worldwide WiFi access for every FON member.
The reason I went to BCF Computer Fair at Tolworth was to upgrade my FON aerial for just £5 !

So is this a Symbian-specific Wi-Fi router, or a phone-sensitive repeater for existing networks?

osde.info, you've convinced me you've done the work - it's authentic. I also think that you've been fair and thorough. I didn't get the sense that you were hiding your biases, or passing off other's work as your own. Or worse -- getting paid by those you cover -- so it's transparent and independent. I also think you deserve praise for being an eyewitness, and for your investigative efforts. Good stuff.
