Wii Wins Hardware Battle Second Month Straight

Nintendo's new home console Wii is once again the top selling console
of the month. "We are still struggling to deliver the right numbers of
hardware to cope with demand," says Nintendo Europe's senior marketing
director Laurent Fischer. Despite the shortage, for the second straight
month, Wii has outsold all hardware competition except for Nintendo DS,
including Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 and PSP. "It's astonishing to think that
with six million we're not able to fulfil the initial demand," Fischer
said, "...this is what happens when you reach an expanded audience and
keep the regular gamers."
