Wikia Launches OpenServing Blog Platform

Wikia, the for-profit project from Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales, announced a project called OpenServing today. OpenServing is a community content platform that will provide free storage, bandwidth, software and computing power. What'€™s more, they'€™ll give site owners 100% of the ad revenue. What does that mean? For now, it means you can build a collaborative blogging site based on the modified MediaWiki code from ArmChairGM, a startup that Wikia acquired recently.
