Blogger Random News From Miami has a post about the Sun-Sentinel reporting that former dictator Manuel Antonio Noriega plans to board a plane back to Panama as soon as he gets out of a Miami prison on September 9th, 2007. This release date was posted on the U.S Bureau of Prisons Web site.
Noriega's eight-year rule over Panama ended after the United States invaded Panama on Dec. 20, 1989, to force him from power. He is being held in the Federal Correctional Institution in Miami on drug trafficking and money laundering charges.
