Will NYC Street Art be a casualty of gentrification

I was walking down rivington on the LES yesterday and saw this awesome painting on the wall. The LES has changed significantly in recent history and i could only wonder if we'd lose great examples like this one as the  "tidying up" of neighborhoods continue. hopefully not.
