Nelson Mandela's fight for rights of all Africans opened the eyes of the world on Apartheid. His wife Winnie is said by some to Ride Nelson's Coat tails, forming her own splinter group of followers, resulting in all of Nelson's excellent hard work being diminished by Winnie's actions, resulting in strained relations and eventual divorce.

Currently Winnie Mandela's attempts in getting a Canadian Visa is being denied by Canadian officials based on her past activities. Past activities include mass murder of her own people in trying to get her political party's point across.

Winnie's Friends and assorted Hangers on, state Winnie's previous "reckless abandon" should be dismissed and Winnie be allowed into Canada. The definition of Winnie's "Reckless Abandon" was not stealing a set of tires, or free cable. Winnie's "Reckless Abandon" were atrocities against her own people, by her own motley group of murderers in which she was their leader. Winnie's "Reckless Abandon Group" committed unspeakable murderous atrocities against children and citizens of her own country. 

If Winnie were allowed in Canada. One wonders if others in similar situations for example, Robert Pickton or Bernard Holmolka would use the same defensive argument of their own "Reckless Abandon" and insist they be forgiven and walk free.

Too many people upon being convicted of crimes, use reckless abandon or born again religion as a fast track to freedom.

Final Thought 

Dollar to donuts, if Winnie and he daughter were allowed a Visa into Canada, one thinks a refugee application and permanent residency would soon be applied for with a Cash for Life Mantra and Beautiful Canadian Lifestyle only her now deceased victims could only dream of.
