Woman Committed Suicide In Fire

January 6, 2007 Florida - A 33-year-old woman who died in a late night fire Thursday committed suicide, police say. Firefighters rescued Janell Marie Aalberg, of the 500 block of 19th Street West, from a fire that started at 10:47 p.m. Thursday in her second-story apartment. Aalberg was still breathing when she was rushed to Manatee Memorial Hospital but succumbed to critical injuries and was pronounced dead at 2:45 a.m. Friday.
