Man shot dead by police officer
A man has been shot dead by police in Kent.

Part of the centre of Sevenoaks including the bus station, has been sealed off following the incident which happened in the early hours.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission has confirmed the shooting and that an investigation will take place.

Such a move is standard procedure where police are involved in a fatal shooting.
