Women Prefer Men Who Look Like Dad
If you were "daddy's little girl" when you were younger, chances are that you'll end up marrying a guy that looks a lot like your father, this according to a new study out of Durham University in England. Psychologists and anthropologists calculated 15 key proportions of physical features between random men and the fathers of the women participating in the study. Then they divided the group of women into whether or not they had a positive or negative relationship with their fathers during childhood. The women who did have a positive experience with their fathers rated the men, [closely resembling their fathers' features] higher than the ones who reported having a negative relationship with theirs. Researchers say although no one yet knows for sure why these preferences exist, a woman may choose a similar looking mate in the hopes that he will also be a good father.

Women who got along well with their dads as kids are attracted to men who resemble their fathers, whereas women who had a bad father-daughter relationship do not

Fun story! Perfect for the father's day season, and perhaps I'll show your article to my daughters so that they can see what their future husbands might look like. --Bill
