You know who you are.You skip dinner with the in-laws to work on your PowerPoint presentation – which isn't due until next month.
You nix the December vacation to Miami because that's when all the best office parties are.
You schedule conference calls for 7 p.m. so you don't have to go home and watch Dora the Explorer with your kids.
You're one of a legion of Canadians who end the weekend with a silent prayer: Thank God it's Monday.

This is great, Rick...I think it's a common syndrome. The only thing I would ask is that you add a bit more context to the story...what's Globe and Mail's thesis here? That lots of Canadians do this?
Also, why is it interesting to you? Are you one of these people?

Guilty as charged... the major thesis is that we tend to find work more "interesting" than our domestc lives and as a result , we either consciously or not, tend to spend more time at work than we should.
