26,000 Obama supporters descended on the campus of the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA on Saturday despite long waits and torrential downpours. Lines began forming at 10:00 a.m on campus. Attendees were admitted to Ball Circle at 3:00 p.m. just as the heaviest of the rains began. The crowds anxiously waited until approximately 7:15 p.m when Senators Obama and Biden came to the stage.
