Thai solders stand guard in streets of Bangkok on 07 October 2008
Thai army has been deployed around the parliament building to assist riot police.
Clashes between police and PAD protesters escalated when the PAD protesters attempted to take over the parliament building. Police fired tear-gas and rubber bullets leaving some 300 people injured and two people got killed.
