Today is 1. December. The World HIV/AIDS day by the UN. The day when it needed/must to remember to those who died in AIDS caused illnesses.
But for me beside the memories of a lost love, it's the day to look around in the World. What happend since 2001. It's a dark painting about this moment. Millions of people died illnesses caused AIDS. Millions suffers from AIDS. And millions infected with HIV. Without any kind of selection: children, parents, young or elder. For HIV/AIDS it doesn't matter wich country you came from, to wich nation or religion do you belong to.AIDS KILLS.
During the last years what We did? Started wars, killed each other, forgot the human touch, soul and emotions. We live in our so safe world and wouldn't like to understand the importance of help. The number of those who want to help is less than the number of those who can (I mean money, good healthcare, and dynamic health research). But those who can, wouldn't like to help. They do not hear the voice of pain and need.
The wealthy nations like the US, France, UK, Germany are still on their own way to be more powerful. But what does it mean? The power of gross ear.. Unity what They talk about every time. Then where is their unity when the world needs it?
What HIV/AIDS affected people want? I think it's easy: better treatment, medicines, and understanding.
But They don't care about us.
Note: I wouldn't like to write about the catholic church's do-not-use-condom politics. But it's disgusting from the Vatican.. Their strongest 'castles' are in the 'third world' where HIV/AIDS is so common... Think again..
