According to a PTI news report, a Public Interest Litigation has been filed in Allahabad High Court by two social organizations asking for directions to the central government to find out how much Indian money was stashed in foreign banks and who are the persons who deposited these amounts.

According to some reports, in the Swiss numbered accounts Indians hold as much as $1.4 trillion dollars of unaccounted and untaxed money, and if the amount is spent for poverty alleviation in India, there will be no poor people.

It is time that the Government acts tough to get back the money to India and eradicate poverty from the face of the poor.
