I don't even know if these are legal tender in Scotland any more. How hard can it be to chek this? Surely google knows. Google knows much.

£1 notes were phased out in Englandshire many years ago. This one has been kicking about on the shelves of junk for, well, (oh my god) fourteen years. How can that be? Crivens. 14 years? No, no no.

Yeah they are still used. I had one a couple of weeks ago.

RBS haven't printed many for years and there arn't that many around now.

The other Scottish banks have release new bank notes and RBS may do the same later this year.

Talk is will they release a new £1 note or do away with it.
