NP Rank:
108th Canadian soldier killed in Afghanistan
We need to remember
that many nations have
soldiers,in Afghanistan.
It is not just the US and
the Taliban.
A roadside bomb has killed a Canadian soldier west of Kandahar city, bringing to 108 the total number of Canadian troops who have died as part of the Afghan mission since it began in 2002.
Twenty-five-year-old Sapper Sean David Greenfield was killed Saturday when his armored vehicle struck a roadside bomb in the volatile Zhari district west of Kandahar city.
This has been a particularly bloody winter for Canadian soldiers deployed to Afghanistan.
Greenfield is the second Canadian soldier to be killed this year, and the 11th to die since December - all of them in roadside bomb attacks.

How many Afghan did dye so far? Civilian and Non combatant are the real victims of any war. This is a war not a peace keeping mission nor a humanitarian mission.
