According to Hindu news paper report dated lined 1/05/09, out of the 21 fishermen in a boat who set sail from the war ravaged Mullaithivu area of Srilanka 10 died in high seas due to starvation on the high seas. The remaining 11 live but weak fishermen were spotted off the coast of Kakinada in India and were rescued. They are undergoing treatment at the government hospital in Kakinada. What a tragedy that has fallen on the Srilankans! Only some escaped death though they ventured into high seas and wanted to reach the Indian shores in safety.
