14 kids, two adults hurt in bus crash

SIXTEEN people, including 14 children on a school holiday program, were taken to hospital after a bus and car collided in Melbourne's south today.

An ambulance spokeswoman said 14 children, aged six to 10, and two adults were been taken to hospital with minor injuries. The 57-seater bus had 40 people on board.

The crash happened just after 10am (AEST) today on the Princes Highway, Dandenong when the car failed to give way and hit the bus.
