16-Year-Old Charged in 'All Black People Leave Walmart' Comment

A 16-Year-Old Boy Has Been Charged for the 'All Black People Leave the Store' Comment Over the PA in a South Jersey Walmart on March 14th.
The 16-year-old is not being named due to being a juvenile, but as the Associated Press reports, the boy was arrested on Friday and was charged with harassment and bias intimidation.
It was last Sunday that the boy was in the Walmart in Washington Township when he announced over the intercom 'Attention Wal-Mart customers: all black people leave the store now.'
Customers in the store were offended and company leaders have apologized; the boy has now been released in to the custody of his parents.
"This was an extremely disturbing event on many levels," Gloucester County Prosecutor Sean Dalton said at a news conference. "Any statements like these that can cause harm or grave concern must be addressed as quickly we possibly can."
It is not known to the media if the boy planned the announcement of made it impulsively, but there was another teen with the boy but that teen has not been charged.
Patricia Covington and Sheila Ellington, two customers who were in the store at the time told NBC Philadelphia:
In 2010, I want to know why such statements are being made because it flies in the face of what we teach them [our kids] at home, and that's tolerance for people
The Walmart store has since updated their intercom system so that a similar incident cannot happen again.

if it had been any race at all people wud be offended bacasue its all the same. yet on the comment about if it had been a comment to white people it wud have been a vastly different reaction
