18-year-old boy rapes and sets on fire 14-year-old girl

Jhansi (UP): In a ghastly incident, an 18-yeae-old boy has allegedly raped and murdered a girl who is a neighbor and then attempted to murdered her to wipe out evidence. He has set the 14-year-old victim on fire alive. The girl died in the hospital.

According to IANS, the girl was identified as Tahe, a resident of Mauranipur. The incident occurred on Sunday when the girl was alone in her house. The girl was rushed to hospital with serious burn injuries and died while being treated on Monday.

Police arrested the boy while he was trying to escape from the village.
