19 die as Talibans attack police headquarters in Afghanisthan

Kandhar, Feb 13: At least nineteen persons are feared killed in an attack y Talibans on the police headquarters here. According to official sources, Talibans have surrounded the police headquarters from all sides. They launched bombers and threw grenades. Suicide bombers also took part in the major attack. Armed forces were called in to help the police to counter the attack. After ten hours of firing from both sides, authorities said all the attackers were killed. Afghanisthan President Hamid Karzoi has condemned the attack.
