According to news reports, about 700 civilians from 50 nationalities were aboard the flotilla carrying aid for Gaza. It came under attack by Israeli troops when the flotilla was still in international waters. Israel's Channel 10 TV has reported 19 passengers killed and 36 wounded in the raid. Turkey, Spain, Greece, Denmark and Sweden have summoned the Israeli ambassadors in their respective countries to protest against the deadly assault. According to Dawn.com "senior Pakistani journalist Talat Hussain, another Pakistani journalist Agha Raza and a Pakistani NGO worker" were also on board the ship, but as yet no contact has been made with either of them.
Israeli commandos on Monday stormed six ships carrying hundreds of pro-Palestinian activists on an aid mission to the blockaded Gaza Strip, killing at least 10 people and wounding dozens.

The IDF killed 20 people, why condemn the activists for defending themselves?
And there were no gunmen on the Mavi Marmara, the IDF admitted it.
They were in international waters, and the IDF illegally boarded and assaulted the ship.
The attack was unprovoked, the IDF created the situation by illegally ramming and boarding ships in international waters.
The ship is flagged in Turkey, and international law states that any ship operating in international waters is soveriegn territory of the nation it is flagged under, and attacks on a flagged ship constitute an act of war.

In international waters ships can carry as many "weapons" as they like. No that an iron bar is much use against armoured helicopters or machine guns...
This was no PR mistake by Israel. They need a regional conflict and they need it now. The demographic time bomb is ticking and they will be a minority by 2050. The only option is "purge" which can only happen under the fog of war.
