2-Killed in Landikotal

Landikotal: Two killed in separate incidents in landikotal.

A boy was killed when mortar shells were fired from an unknown location

In landikotal; Headquarter of Khyber agency ,a Tribal region bordering Afghanistan. In another traffic accident an Afghan minor girl was hit by a speedy Passenger Coach and killed on the spot. Local sources said.

According to landikotal kandaw khel village sources some mortar shells were fired on Sunday at 8:00am from unknown location which fell down in the open ground of kandaw khel where children were playing cricket. Hayat Ali S/o Rahman Ali having age of 13 years killed and three others children Rehmat ali ,18, Ishraq ,12 and Zia ur Rehman 14 received minor injuries.

Sources said t the injured rushed to landikotal hospital where Zia ur Reham was Shifted to Peshawar hospital for his serious condition.

Soon after the incident Security personnel rushed to the spot and collected the evidence.

In another accident an afghan refugee girl of 6 year was hit by a passenger coach while

She was crossing road  on landikotal torkham road near Michni check post. Her death confirmed by the doctors at landikotal hospital after her medical checkup.

Sources said that Coach Driver was arrested and sent to landikotal lock up.
