20 LTTE supporters held for attack on army convoy in Coimbatore

20 supporters of Sri Lankan based terrorist organization LTTE were arrested for attacking an convoy belongs to the Indian army in Tamilnadu. LTTE is a terrorist organization banned by the Government of India.

The LTTE supporters belong to a Pro- LTTE organization called "periyar thiravida kazhagam" have attacked the Indian army convoy thinking that it is a supply convoy to the Sri Lankan Army destroying LTTE at present in Sri Lankan.

Cases have been registered against 200 people belonging to political groups sympathetic to the banned LTTE for attack on an army convoy. The arrested include Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam and Tamil nationalist leader K. Ramakrishnan, police sources said.

At least 20 pro-LTTE activists were arrested on Sunday morning for the attack on an army convoy near here a day ago, police said.

Cases have been registered against 200 people belonging to political groups sympathetic to the banned Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). The arrested include Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam and Tamil nationalist leader K. Ramakrishnan, police sources added.

Supporters of the Tamil Tigers on Saturday stopped five army trucks here carrying ammunition and personnel on way back from training in Secunderabad in Andhra Pradesh. They were on their way to Thiruvananthapuram.

Definitely if the pest control operation by Sri Lankan Army does not complete very fast. India should give Sri Lanka full support to finish off the LTTE leftovers as soon as possible.

The weapons and ammunition captured from the scum of the world LTTE is more than enough if GOSL needs more arms.

The first ever arms donation while being on the run by any organization in the world.

Also, it's good that the LTTE is doing this sort of thing in India now, since they can't do it in Sri Lanka now. Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia (this list is getting too long) etc, WATCH OUT!
