2012: real or fake transformation - YOU decide

Jay Weidner and George Ure keep talking about 2012 as a 'year of transformation' (not really the 'end of the world') .. Here are two approaches:

http://tellus.org/   is a more academic approach..
The first example provides an actual online free course which takes some time to complete conscientiously so don't attempt it in one day. The basic thrust is valid and even thought it may come across as 'we know the truth - so you should follow', try not to let that turn you off to the material/content. It's basically about awareness and using your heart to connect to others. i highly recommend it. The second example is more academically oriented. The researchers at Tellus are highly skilled academics. Their recent publications are a bit 'up there' in language so i've written to them about this to make future publications more 'general public' accessible. No reply. [sigh] Anyways, their approach toward humanity is their decision. The purpose of Tellus is threefold: research, education, and promoting positive transformation .. If you're into 'touchy feely' approaches, visit the first site above. If you're more intellectual and like 'high browed' company, visit the second site.

After my Oprah satire and letter to 'the number one contributor on this site', i realized we need this essay (in about 1000 different ways). i'm going to 'paint' several 2012-December scenarios below. You decide what you like best and which are realistic (if any):
1. The Celebrity Controlled Scenario
How many super-star 'sing offs' (benefits) have we had in the last few years? If we let celebrities control 2012-December, it'll be a Media Frenzy. Money pouring/flying in every direction: from your wallet to the 'needy' in every corner of the globe. (Don't forget all the middle-men: organizers and vultures-waiting-in-the-wings ready to pounce.) Forgive this expression but: middle-men are Leeches/Parasites on society. Like Ticket-Master. Or anyone who's eyes light up at the sound of "concert" or "benefit" .. This option is equivalent to a big party at your expense. Do you really want someone reaching into your back pocket / purse? It's Sick at best.
2. The Government Controlled Scenario
Not much better than above but this time - there's national guard everywhere, actual real army everywhere, police everywhere, and a curfew at 6PM. Is this how you want 2012-December to look like??? A police state? This is the symbol of the future??? Please hand me a gun so i can shoot myself..
3. Nothing Happens
Many people expect this and we have a way of 'making true' our expectations.. This is almost worse than scenario 2 because it means we MISS OUR OPPORTUNITY at positive change.
4. A Quiet Inner Transformation
Instead of a party, instead of a police-state, instead of nothing, why can't we CHOOSE a meaningful outcome? This option takes a HUGE commitment starting right now. Don't wait for 2012-December! Start now! Look at one of the sites above.. If neither one appeals to you, find another that does! .. i ran through some 'Oprah interviews' in my head in the last several days.. One where she asked me to do a miracle as proof of my connection to God. This is what happened in that mini-scenario. i said to Oprah "Do you have an HIV test kit in the studio?" Oprah: "Yes." Me: "Test me please." [tests +] "Give me one year to pray; God will cure me." (In reality, i've been tested many times - always -.) Remember what i keep writing at the end of many of my essays? Trust Her (capital T is not about sentence beginning - it's about the archetype of trust). i'm not saying let your toddler wander into the street; i'm not saying let your teenager walk all over you; i'm saying quite the opposite: Be Responsible; Be Accountable; Be with Her. She's waiting for you.. All you really have to do is Look Within .. i know i know, so many of you are so sick of me preaching about Her .. hehe .. probably really would like me to put a gun to my head and just put us all out of my misery. ;) But it ain't that easy honey. You or i pull the trigger - it doesn't matter .. She'll speak from the rocks if that's the only way she can. One of my best friends from Michigan State (hi Bob!) "Green Thumb Bob" he wanted to be called (a straight-A horticulture major), he wanted to know why i 'broke away from the Church' (he's Mennonite). My best answer to that is what i've told other 'fundamentalist Christians': on a secular path to God, i can introduce Her to many many many more people.. So Bob and Bobbie (wow, what a 'coincidence';), can you understand now why i took this path? Why i Had to? How else could i find spacelet theory, temporal relativity, iam conjecture, and continuum mechanics without making physics my 'religion'? .. If 'my ideas' ever become 'popular' in the sense of people actually discussing them or thinking about them, it will be a HUGE test of my character to refuse gifts etc resulting from all that attention. i'm Ready for that challenge; She 'covers my ass' remember? i'm Ready for Oprah; i'm ready for Anyone .. Both Bob and Bobbie have somewhat narrow views of God and i sincerely doubt they'd both embrace my perspectives of Her.. But i'd hope they'd give Her a chance in their hearts.. This view of God as: immaterial, Loving, Creative, and wanting Intimacy with us - is not alien to either of them.. Sexy might be a little hard for them to swallow but that's just because i have a thing for Smart Girls. ;) .. One of Dimi's 'old best friends' was his "slum"-landlord (as they jokingly/affectionately called him) "slum-lord Jim", he used to say "just shy of a Nobel-prize winner" is the kind of girl he wanted. (Sadly for him - he was physically handicapped and not much to look at .. But what's more important? Inner or outer beauty?) So if Stephen Hawking were a woman, i think i'd be calling her up for a date right about now .. You wanna know my recent 'silly prayer' to God? Manifest; come to me; Show them .. You wanna know what's Really Frightening? If She Does.

.. Bob and i used to walk around campus (around the campus chapel) and try not to stare at the beautiful girls who populated it at that time.. Hehe, one time, some girls undressed to bikinis just outside the chapel while we tried to conduct a religious ceremony. ;) And another time, one of the younger ladies in the fellowship was sitting next to me while across from us was a visiting Mennonite who had a HUGE um .. liking to her um .. revealing skirt .. The thing that Bob and i were trying to ignore was the fact you could see girls' labia from their skin-tight jeans.. Not to mention the nice shape of their bums.. Even back when those girls were undressing, i had the wherewithal to say "thank you God .. thank you God" ;) But Bob and i truly Struggled to ignore those other babes.. Imagine: i was 18 and he 21; pretty 'difficult' .. One time in the Davie Post Office (Davie, FL), i saw this 'goddess' with similar attributes.. i called her Gloria for obvious reasons.. i prefer brunettes but this one was: blonde, mid-30s (guessing), perfect body, indescribably beautiful in the face, and what really 'killed' me was that she smiled at me.. Gloria honey? Where are you? [sigh] Waiting for you honey .. waiting for You..
