25 Chinese Women Stopped At Chinese Border After Plastic Surgery
25 Chinese women had difficulty re-entering China after they returned from having plastic surgery in North Korea.
The 25 Chinese women were friends and went to South Korea as a group for plastic surgery. The Chinese women returned to China with bigger eyes, higher noses, and slimmer chins, which made it difficult for the border officers to identify them. The officers spent many minutes analyzing each woman's face before letting her pass into China. The women were then asked to renew their passports immediately to reflect their new faces.
"After they took off their huge hats and big sunglasses following our request, we saw them looking different, with bandages and stitches here and there," Shanghai Hongqiao Airport officer Chen Tao told the paper.
"We had to compare their uncorrected parts with their photos very carefully," he said.
