Heatwave is striking England. Humid weather with showers and thunderstorms is followed by heat.
The Met Office has issued a "heat health" warning for this week, with night time temperatures in some areas due to remain as high as 18C (64.4F).
Temperature records are following one after another. The highest temperature was recorded at Heathrow last Thursday at 28C but now
Charlwood near Gatwick is taking over with 28.4C And temperatures are supposed to rise till 33C in the middle of the week. But it won’t be any better during the night with 18C expected.
The hottest place is expected to be London, the South East and eastern England. And for Wimbledon fans that not the best news.
The Department of Health advises to stay inside between 11AM to 3PM. It is also advised to avoid tea and coffee in exchange of water benefits. Children and elderly people are at the highest risk.

I hope people take this seriously, and heed the warnings. And check in with the elderly, who are more vulnerable.
