IITF 2008India Trade Promotion Organisation the nodal trade promotion organisation of the Government of India, presents the 28th edition of its premier event "INDIA INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR"- a reliable connection to the vast Indian and overseas market. IITF has evolved into the largest show of its kind in Asia. The fair offers a reliable platform for initiation of trade exchanges, technology transfers, joint venture opportunities,identification of agents and distributors.

Popularly known as the "MINI INDIA SHOW" IITF provides an insight into the impact of digital revolution, especially e-governance in different States/ Union Territories with its spin-offs covering virtually every section of the population. State Pavilions offer unique show window to a broad product spectrum ranging from goods having hi-tech orientation with traditional character and appeal.

The past edition of IITF has attracted participation of about 7500 Indian companies with overseas participation from 44 countries with 380 companies.Whopping presence of the domestic and international business persons including trade delegations made the show a great success. The show also witnessed presence of general visitors which was around 3 million.

  • Free Entry for Physically Challenged Persons during public hours on week days.

  • Free Entry for school children (under 12 years) accompanied by teachers along with a authorization letter from the head of the institution only during general visiting hours on the weekdays.

  • No free entry allowed on Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays to all the above three categories.

27 India International Trade Fair 14 Nov-27 November  IITF 2007 India International trade fair today inaugrated by the President of India,Ms Pratibha Patil at 10 AM.Hon'ble Federal Commerce Minister Kamal Nath will preside over the function.
Every year,on same dates business fair called, International Trade Fair is being organized since 1980, by Trade fair authorities now called ITPO,initiated by the then Prime Minister of India Late Ms Indir Gandhi under the able leadership of late Mr Mohd Younus,the exhibition ground spread over vast area at exhibition ground known as Pragati Maiden,just near Old fort and Supreme court building.
The India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), the premier trade promotion agency of the Government of India- will this year be celebrating 27 years of its premier event- "India International Trade Fair". Ever since its inception in 1980, this mega-event has evolved into Asia's largest show of its kind. It provides a window to the broad spectrum of industrial progress set in the global background. Today, the IITF stands for growth, power, professional competence and internationality in the field of industrial growth. It has therefore become a reflection of the dynamic development of the market, leveraging India's intra-country and global trade exchanges.

India International Trade Fair has been playing a crucial role in accelerating the growth of business as well as brand building by establishing a common platform for the trading community from across the world concerning varied sectors. A meeting ground for businessmen, technocrats, entrepreneurs, manufacturers, exporters, suppliers, importers, distributors, service providers amongst others worldwide, each edition of the fair turned out to be more successful than the preceding fair. So far, the 26 editions of IITF witnessed huge exhibitor and visitor participation, elevating its status as one of the largest shows in Asia at the international level.

This annual event provides a common platform for the manufacturers, traders, exporters and importers. It will once again be held in India's largest and only world class exhibition complex, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from November 14 - 27, 2007.

ITPO this year will be having PROCESSED FOOD and AGRO INDUSTRIES as special theme. Infact, companies from all business avenues will be encouraged to participate, to represent India in its totality and open fresh avenues for major business expansions.

IITF 2006 attracted more than 7,500 Indian companies and 350 overseas companies from 34 countries. Over 3,00,000 business visitors 3 million general visitors visited the 14 day event. The 2007 edition is expected to have more participation and greater response, generating more business.Countries participating this years include,
Afghanistan, Belarus, Bhutan, Brazil, China, Egypt, Iran, Korea, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Poland, South Africa , Tanzania, Thailand, Vietnam and Maldives in the fair.Trade fair will also witness international exhibitors participation from 23 countries – Australia, Beligum, Germany, Holland, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Myanmar, Oman, Phillipines, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Suriname, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, UAE, U.K, USA and Syria.
