Three prison inmates have died in a fight that broke out in an Oklahoma prison.  Updates will be posted when further information is available.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol spokeswoman Betsy Randolph confirmed that afight at the Oklahoma State Reformatory in Granite resulted in eight to10 stabbings and three deaths.Injured inmates were taken to areahospitals. Details about the conditions of other inmates injured in thefight are available yet.
Opened in 1910, the prison is a medium-security facility located nearU.S. Highway 9 in Granite. It holds about 975 prisoners and hasminimum, medium and maximum-security wings. However, themedium-security wing of the facility holds the most prisoners.
