And that's it. C'est tout. Finished. It's been quite an adventure, and I won't pretend that a big part of me isn't glad to see the back of it!
I started doing a Year 2 because I felt that there was still a lot I could learn along the way - and looking back at the shots I've taken over the last 12 months, I think the effort has paid off. I'm using a lot less post processing now - mostly because I'm far happier with results that I'm getting in-camera.
I've got a lot of very interesting photography-related things on the near horizon, and I now feel like I'm ready to take a few big leaps toward my ultimate goal.
Of course, photography isn't the only thing that's absorbed me over the last 12 months - I've also got married to a truly wonderful woman who does everything she can to encourage my endeavours. Mwah - to her.
I've also finally managed to meet up with a bunch of people I first met on here during my first year, and am more than happy to count them amongst my friends (you know who you are - you guys rock!) - and there's still a bunch more (both here and overseas) that I hope to meet some time very soon!
Don't take this as a goodbye - I'm not going anywhere! I'll still be keeping an eye on what you're doing, and taking part in the odd project or two. But as far as 365's go - this is the last one... Life has just got too busy to carry on I'm afraid! :)
Thanks for the memories, and here's to the future (which, as we all know, will be ruled by apes).
