Separate Shootings Leave 4 Dead in Seattle
Four people are dead and two more wounded in two separate shootings in Seattle on May 30, 2012.
A shooting at Cafe Racer left three dead and two wounded; security cameras caught footage of the suspect.
The two men who died at the scene were members God's Favorite Beefcake, of a local band. A woman injured on the scene later died in hospital. The Seattle café shooting took place at roughly 11am PT.
[Update: the suspect in the Cafe Racer shootings has apparently shot himself in the head as he was approached by police. It's not yet clear if he survived.
At some point before the shooting, someone reported a man making suicidal threats. Investigators were checking to see if there is a connection to the shooting, though officials did not immediately link the two incidents.
Half an hour later, a carjacking ended in a woman's death near Seattle Town Hall. The stolen vehicle, a black Mercedes SUV, was later found.
