4th ODI: India vs West Indies Live Streaming 2013 - WI Tri Series
Live cricket Streaming of West Indies Tri-Nation Series, 4th Match: West Indies v India at Port of Spain, Jul 5, 2013. Having lost both their matches of the tri-series so far, the Indians are almost in a must-win situation to keep their hopes alive, when they face West Indies, at the Queen’s Park Oval, in Port of Spain, on Friday.
Kohli himself has always been very passionate about his game. Emotional to the core, Kohli never hides his feelings, be it joy, anger or disappointment.
They didn’t look like world champions the other day. With drooping shoulders, they lacked that zing that is needed to outgun tough oppositions. It is here that Kohli’s infectious energy may come in handy. He has to take the lead to charge up the boys who till very recently looked almost unbeatable. A clenched fist or a fiery glare could just turn things around.
As an individual, Kohli has every right to be the man he wants to be and lead the way he wants. But at the same time, he must react to the ups and downs accordingly and adapt.
More than batting, it’s India’s bowling which will give Kohli the headache. The Caribbean pitches have somehow remained inert to the Indian bowlers. But then that is one way of putting it. The other way would be to say that the Indian bowlers have bowled unimaginatively and that has been the reason for their collective failure.
Kohli had played it wrong when he left out Bhuvneshwar Kumar from the playing XI in the last match. But the swing master looks set to be back in the team on Friday.
Much will also be expected from Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja.
The batting line-up is likely to remain the same though Murali Vijay’s presence in the XI makes little sense.
But the West Indians look in fine fettle. The bowlers are hunting in a pack and the batsmen are enjoying the home conditions. With two wins under their belt, their confidence must be sky-high.
Captain Dwayne Bravo, who missed the last match with an injury, is likely to make a comeback on Friday. And that makes them even more dangerous a side.
The important thing that India have to keep in mind is that the Lankans have not only won a match, they have won it with a bonus point. So for India, a victory wouldn’t be enough, a big victory is the need of the hour.
