$50 for a Photo with Newt Gingrich
Newt Gingrich Charging $50 for a Photo Op
Newt Gingrich's campaign has been in trouble for a long time, and the fiscal reality of that is catching up to him: Gingrich's campaign is in the red. The Newt Gingrich campaign is now charging $50 for a photo op with Gringrich himself.
Is charging $50 for a photo of a realistically-unelectable candidate who's basically on a book tour a stupid idea? Well, yeah, but think of the possibilities:
- You could pose with Newt Gingrich and throw up the shocker
- Hold up a pic of Herman Cain's creepy grin
- Implore Prince to change his name back to an unpronounceable glyph
- Return of Keyboard Cat
... or just hold up a sign that reads, "It's Over", because, for Newt, it pretty much is.
For Newt Gingrich to clinch the nomination, he'd have to win almost every delegate in every remaining state and district. That's just not going to happen, especially considering that he didn't even make the ballot in every state.
So, yes, you can have your photo taken with Newt Gingrich, and that pic would be uploaded to his campaign website, but the photo would have more value to you than to him.
