7 charged with operating drug organization in Hampton Roads by CJaye

SUSPECTS William Foreman, 41, of Newport News Quentin Haley, 36 , of Newport News Bryan Robbs, 41, of Costa Mesa, California Shavonda York, 35, of Hampton Perry Lee Bowen, Jr, 37, of Chesapeake Richard Wiggins, Jr, 36, of Newport News Margarette Bullock Powell, 72, of Newport News Newport News Police Department has been really busy lately with first, the prostitution ring bust and now the drug bust this all on the same day. In Virginia Beach I can't even get a police officer to come when I call about the "crack dealers" in the street. The last time called I was told is was NOT an emergency and the dispatcher hung up on me! I was floored! I called back needless to say a liitle miffed. Another dispatcher said the same thing but she'd try and send a unit if she could. I asked her not to have the officer stop in front of my house because I didn't want the drug dealer to know I called. Thirty minutes later a patrol car shows up with two officers, they pull up right in front of my house and get out of the car. They proceed to walk across the street and confront the drug dealer. He was sitting in his car this is where he was selling his drugs out of. They must have told him he couldn't hang out on the street I don't kwow, but he went into the house. It wasn't ten mintues later he was back on the street. Virginia Beach police, I don't know why is NOT taking care of the "crack" problem. If you see someone on the street selling "crack" bust them take them off the street. For some reason they won't. I written the Mayor of the city. That did NO good! Thank god we have a up coming election maybe after 35 years she'll be put out this time and someone put in who really cares about this city.
