Watch this video about an old Tamil lady crying over the abduction of her 7 year old grand daughter by LTTE in Dharmapuram. When Sri Lanka Army was closing in on Dharmapuram, the LTTE has forced the civilians to go with them when they were fleeing from the area. This lady's daughter and son-in-law have refused to go with them and the LTTE had abducted the little 7 year old Parwathi according to this weeping grand mother and the grand father. The daughter and son-in-law had then followed LTTE in the hopes of rescuing their daughter.

According to the grand mother, the little girl had been more attached to her grandma even more than to her parents. Grandma has always taken care of her while the parents were working the whole day at fields.

Note how the old Tamil gentleman embraces the SLA personnel when saying goodbye.

Reporter Saman Kumara Ramawikrama of Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corp. further states that when the SLA liberated Dharmapuram and moved into the area doing clearing operations, they have found the old couple inside their house weeping and starving. He states that the Army's main mission is to free the suffering people from the terror grip.

Name of the grand mother is Sellamma Sivaraj, 71 years old.
