75 Percent Of Bush Administration To Be Undone By Obama

President Elect Barack Obama's team are looking into reversing 200 Bush presidential orders. So far Bush has made 262 such orders on issues relating to mining, and stem cell research among others. Mr Obama should be able to undo the orders made by the, some say, illegal Bush administration. If it wasn't for the "collaterol" damage it would perhaps almost be like Bush had never been in office.

Sputnic, where is this information from? It really needs a link (preferably a highlight) and, by the looks of it, an opinion tag.

Could you provide a link please? Also, could the piece be marked with an opinion tag?

Thank you.

Opinion tags apply to posts where the contributor is providing his/ her own opinion and where the original piece is an opinion piece. I believe that the original writer was expressing his opinion in this piece.

And perhaps when you get online, you can provide the link - everyone else does it, so I think it's only fair for you to do it too. I will then remove the flag.

Thank you.

The writer was not expressing an opinion they were stating something the incoming Obama administration was planning to do. Have you even bothered to read the BBC article? No everyone else doesnt provide links and often those contributors that do provide them, dont do so properly and they dont work! I thought the point of citizen journalism was the mobile aspect

For the reader, I assume that this is the link that Sputnic is talking about.

Sputnic, I cannot find anything on that link about 'illegal Bush administration' or 'collateral damage' so I assume that that is opinion.

My point is, Sputnic, that what you are posting here is important information, and may be controversial to some. As a news site, we need to be honest about the sources we are citing (not least for reasons of copyright). I understand that you are posting from your mobile, but I think that we on NP need to be responsible and consistent about citing our sources. So, yes, if your information does come from different sources, it's best that you cite them all so that the reader knows exactly where the information is derived from, the context of that information, and your reasons for posting it.

Thank you.

Have now public readers forgotten about the Florida court case that stole the usa election? Do they sleep through news of children being bombed in Pakistan? I will mark this piece as opinion, it is the opinion of most people
