Eight teenagers shot at Waka Flocka concert in Gary, Indiana

Eight teenagers in Indiana were shot while leaving a Waka Flocka concert at the World of Skates skating rink in Gary, Indiana on the night of Friday Mach 3, 2010.  In a statement made to the Post-Tribune, Police Captain Gabrielle King said "all chaos broke loose" after a fight broke out at the event; security informed patrons to vacate the venue as the fight escalated.

Officials believe the incident is related a rivalry between two neighbourhoods after 16-year-old Marquel Croock, who was shot in the stomach, claimed the shoots was donning a red baseball cap and dreadlocks.

Police are still investigating the shooting; as of Saturday night, King stated that no arrests have been made.

DaVonte Biddings, 16, was shot in the back, Justin Bodley, 16, took a bullet in the leg,  Stephan Danzy, 17, and Kesean Philon, 14, were both shot in the left leg, Shaquille Hughes, 15, was shot in the side, Marcus Ratliff, 14, was hit in the right wrist, and Junan Washington, 18, was shot in the left ankle, in the shooting, which started in the parking lot of the venue.

Waka Flocka was not harmed in the shooting.
