ZAMBOANGA CITY -- Nine people were injured when an MK2 grenade exploded Wednesday night in downtown Zamboanga City, a police official said.

The blast took place around 6:55 p.m. in front of a hotel beside the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) headquarters along Climaco Avenue downtown, according to Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) director Lurimer Detran.

I live here in the Philippines as yet I do not think we have a member in Zambo which is a shame. However there are a bunch of us here in Philippines who are supplying news as we hear it. thanks for putting the News wanted sign on this seeded article.
