. "above my pay grade" The new and improved President Truman. Now THAT is change!

When asked when a baby gets human rights, Obama responded that it was 'above his pay grade.'  At his age and political postition he should have come to some kind of conclusion unless he is lying to make sure he does not offend anyone.  Conviction, he lacks, so leadership is not his forte.  Presidential character he is not.

The point of the interview was for all Americans to see the candidates and find out what each believes. It really was for Obama to show himself to everyone because he has not been around as long. When he avoided answering, it showed he is not a leader. He appears to be a total delegator instead of a decision maker who allows others to disagree. I do not care which way they believe about abortion even though I tend toward pro-life. The president is not going to change the balance even if all the justices quit. The senate still has to approve the person.. And I do not believe any president would want to divide the nation on the issue any more than it is. The act of dodging for political correctness was a wrong move.  We want to meet the man not an illusionist.

Can you just explain this post a little more? I'm a bit confused as to what instance you are referring to.

Perhaps he laid to not offent any body. Of course he is taking middle ground and with flexibiliy for obortion on case basis. I agree using "Above my Pay Grade" tactic did not suit him with person of his intelects. Every body is capable of  mis-statements and even the persident is not excluded.

It is a fact that he did vote against the BAIPA the Live Birth Protection Act. He did lie on Saddleback Forum and was later questioned after the Forum by Rick Warren.

You can see the video here along with my post earlier last month on his actual voting record

You're right, because Jesus only cares about unborn babies.  It's not like he would consider things like war, the economy, the environment, education, and corruption when voting.  If that were really the case, then I'd dare say Christ is as narrow minded as you.

The issue is not pro or choice, it is the answer.  He would not say what he believes.  Pro-choice is ok.  Just say it.
