Advice to Libyan rebels
First, who says that Tripoli must be the capital of the new and free Libya. Declare the rebel capital in a city that is already under control. Second, bypass Qadaffi’s strongholds, if possible. Surround Sirte on at least two sides and launch an offensive. Leave a line of retreat back to Tripoli where allies can hit them fleeing.

Libya's rebel army is encountering stiff opposition as they close in on Colonel Gaddafi's home town of Sirte. They've been aided in their advance by coalition airstrikes on munitions dumps.
The rebels have now retaken the towns they lost over the past week, and are in control from Benghazi to Ajdabiya, Ras Lanuf and Bin Jawad - with Sirte in their sights.
