AFFIRMATIVE REACTION: ARE VOTER ID LAWS RACIST?

According to E.J. Dionne of the Washington Post, you're damned right they are.


For the record, it is my considered opinion, formulated over 20-plus years of reading Dionne's columns or watching him on television, that Mr. Dionne is what I like to refer to as "A menstrual little girly man". 


If E.J. Dionne is an example of the best modern Liberalism has to offer, then it's no surprise that it spectaculrly fails everytime it's given free rein.


So sayeth the sainted E.J.:


“Again, think of what this would look like to a dispassionate observer. A party wins an election, as the GOP did in 2010. Then it changes the election laws in ways that benefit itself. In a democracy, the electorate is supposed to pick the politicians. With these laws, politicians are shaping their electorates.”
