Afzal Ansari joins BSP,to contest from Gazipur

THE SAMAJWADI Party (SP) MP and the infamous criminal Afzal Ansari, on Sunday , joined the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). At a rally in Sadat area of Ghazipur district, Ansari clearly announced that he is going to join the BSP. He also added that the SP is working against the Muslims and he will get a big loss in the coming Lok Sabha elections. Ansari said that the former BJP leader and these days the best friend of SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, Kalyan Singh is a criminal for the Muslims and the Muslims never accept the criminal.        The party has also formally announced to field Ansari from Ghazipur for the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls. Ansari who was in the jail in connection with the murder of BJP legislator Krishnanand Rai was released on bail recently.
Ansari is SP’s third MP who has got a BSP ticket   According to the sources in the Home Department Y category security has been provided to the Ansari. Where else the party has already selected Shahid Siddiqui for Bijnore and S P Singh Baghel from the Ferozabad seat.   Another SP MP who is also joined BSP is Munawar Hasan who had been selected for Muzaffar Nagar seat but after his death in a road accident, the party has given the ticket to his wife.   Afzal’s brother, Mukhtar Ansari, who is an independent MLA and represents Mau assembly seat is still in the jail in connection with the Krishnanand Rai murder case. While his third brother, Sibgatullah Ansari, is a SP legislator from Muhammadabad constituency from the Ghazipur district.
