Since the decade of 1930 he was lovingly admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with Spina Bifida and several handicaps that kept him  from walking all of his life until last saturday when he died of a heart attack at 82.

Agapito´s smile showed happiness and a desire to keep living, enjoying simple things in life, like the flavor of his favorite chocolate bar and cheese. He loved to watch life go by looking out the window from his bed  and helping around the hospital with the aid of his wheelchair.

His only experience outdoors was a 48 hour trip to see the ocean, when a member of the staff took him to the A Lanzada de O Grove beach.

Agapito Pazos Méndez address at the electoral  register says Calle Luoreiro Crespo, Hospital Provincial, room 415, bed 2, Pontevedra.

At his burial, personnel, pacients and friends he had made at his only home, the people he loved and loved him came to say the last good-bye.
