A photo of a supporter rally for Iran incumbent candidate and hardline president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad appears to have been modified by Photoshop, making it appear as if crowds were larger than in reality.
Of course, the only way the regime thought it could get away with such a blatant maneuver was through the ban on media coverage of all rallies and protests--a ban being ignored by regular Iranians on the street, but which is severely hampering media estimations of crowd sizes, as well as decent shots of crowd sizes.
This is not the first time the Iranian government has found itself in hot water over Photoshop-modified photos. In July 2008, a photo of Iran missile tests was revealed to have had one missile more than there truly were.

Seems like a lot of photo manipulations are sold as real news these days...

Using the clone (rubber stamp) tool is a dead giveaway, if your going to use that and try get away with it flip the duplicated area horizontally for a better chance of not been spotted, better still use a different photo and comp that in, as long as the style matches, this is free advice to the Iranian Government, there's lots of Photoshop tutorials on the internet about it. North Korea might want to take a look also, they're pretty bad at it too.
