Ahmadiyah organizes closed door meeting in Bali

The meeting which was closed to the press and other elements was held by their adherents amidst a call from the security not to organize such national working meeting in Denpasar.

The government was preparing a joint decree to ban Jamaah Ahmadiyah sect following a recommendation by a government board.

The recommendation was discussed on Thursday at a meeting led by Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Widodo Adi Sucipto.

Commenting on the government plan to ban Ahmadiyah, Abubakar said the National Police would abide by the government`s decision.

Information obtained from said the closed door meeting which lasted for two hours was directly led by Ahmadiyah General Chairman H Abdul Basyir in the company of its secretary Ahmad Supardy.

Some points in the meeting were discussed including the rules of organization as well as its future working plans of the organization.
