AIDS Walk New York Making A Difference
25th Annual AIDS Walk In New York Central Park Sunday May 16th 10:00 AM
Launched in 1986 in Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center, the AIDS Walk New York (AWNY) has become the world's largest AIDS fundraising event.
Organized by the Gay Men’s Health Crisis, the AIDS Walk has raised more than $110 million to fight AIDS in New York since 1986.
GMHC hopes to raise $5.3 million through this year’s event, which kicks off at 10 a.m. in Central Park.
Time Warner Center and Port Authority Bus Terminal Host This Year's Exhibit
To commemorate the 25th annual AIDS Walk New York (AWNY), public exhibits will be erected at the Time Warner Center and the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Photographs, images, and stories will highlight both joyful and somber moments from the past quarter-century of AIDS Walk New York events.

More than 45,000 people are expected to take part in New York City’s 25th annual AIDS Walk Sunday morning.
