Air Force One Flyover: 146 Photos Released to Public
The Pentagon has released 146 photos from an Air Force One photoshoot that caused huge public outcry earlier this year. The Air Force One photos, as well as the Air Force One photoshoot flight manifest, have been released by the Department of Defense in response to calls from the public as well as Freedom of Information requests filed by dozens of news organizations. They are available on the Pentagon website as well as on BNOnews.
On April 27, 2009, an Air Force One jet flew low over New York and New Jersey, accompanied by two F-16 fighter jets. However, neither the public nor city authorities had been notified of the shoot, leading to panic and evacuations throughout Lower Manhattan and Jersey City as people feared a repeat of 9/11.
As a result of the consequent political fallout, White House Military Office director Louis Caldera resigned in May. New York mayor Michael R. Bloomberg was reportedly "furious" with the Obama administration for not having informed anyone of the planned photoshoot.
"If I were them, I think I'd get less publicity by putting them out rather than by keeping them in," Bloomberg said. "They did not ask about coming up here and flying that plane around and they did not ask me about the photos either."

These photos are not worth the scare they caused New Yorkers w/ the Air Force flyover.
It seem that they had to fly around the statue of Liberty 3 times from what I could tell and they still could not make it work (for me) - Photo-shopping the photo would have saved Obama Administration, Director Louis Caldera and New Yorkers a lot of un-needed stress.
This whole ordeal of the flyover, where not worth the final results.
I did like photo numbered 134 to 146 and these photos are only of Air Force One with clouds below the plane.

I donno. They would have gotten better with Photoshop. I still wonder if that was the ONLY reason for this.
