Air France Passenger Dies On Board, Prompts Emergency Stop

Air France flight heading for Paris, France, from Montreal, Canada, had to make an emergency stop late at night today in St. John, Newfoundland, Canada after one of the passengers on board passed away. The body of the man was unloaded from the plane at the airport. It is not clear why or how the man died. His name and nationality are not being released at the moment.

An Air France jet had to make an emergency stop in St. John's, N.L., overnight after a passenger died onboard.

The plane was on its way to Paris when a 41-year-old man became sick and died. The flight touched down at about 2 a.m. today at the St. John's International Airport, where the man's body was taken off.

Newfoundland medical examiners are now investigating the man's cause of death.
