Al Jazeera returns to streets of Tehran - 01 July 09

Al Jazeera has been permitted to shoot footage in Tehran, Iran, available on YouTube. Done by Alireza Ronaghi, this is the first time an official media outlet has been allowed back into the streets of Tehran since the government's foreign media ban after the Iran elections.

Reporting from Tehran has been difficult as the government placed restrictions on journalists following the disputed elections. [...] But as the large-scale demonstrations quieten down, Al Jazeera's Alireza Ronaghi has been out on the streets to see for himself the effect the protests have had.
