For the last shred of conspiracy theorists out there believing Osama bin Laden was still alive, Al Qaeda has released a statement confirming his death.

"The blood of the mujahed sheikh, Osama bin Laden, may God have mercy on him, is very dear to us and more precious to us and to every Muslim from being shed in vain," the statement said. It goes on to say that America killed him through "disgrace and betrayal".

As expected, the statement also tries to enforce a call to action against the United States and others responsible. It also encourages uprising and revolt in Pakistan, the country bin Laden was killed in, to target the "handful of traitors and thieves" located there.

The release comes after some of the information in the documents found in Abbottabad, which document future and past targets of the organization, have started to be disclosed which is a huge blow to Al Qaeda's continued terrorist efforts.
